The harbor stakeholders were very professional in their presentation of the falicies of the Honeybee proposal. They used a screen presentation and reviewed key points. The live aboards are in the process of trying to take back their enviornment by providing resident neighborhood security watch. Routine patrol by HPD has been eliminated. Determined to have decent basic services, all avenues are being sought to achieve sanitary bathrooms.

The boat haul out yard is contaminated from years of pollutant dumping and has two fuel tanks and rock rubble underground. There was no proposal mention of costs for enviornmental clean-up or filling and compacting the land. Honey bee will also try to privately lease land under Presidential proclaimation for pubic purposes.

The fuel dock building will interfere with our Eva skyline sunsets, over land, breaking harbor height limits at 72′. Currently it is the highest masthead.
