It is confirmed infrmation. Hans, it is CONFIRMED information, 4-year lease. If you have facts that indicate otherwise, then please state those facts. As said, I confirmed this information about the rental lease and in fact, have more information on that particular issue. I had a very hard time believing it myself at first, too. I go to great lengths to verify information before posting it. If anyone thinks something does not correspond to the actual facts, then post the facts. As for iStar, if you were at the last Board meeting then you heard that they said that they are now focusing on things that are indeed in their control, such as they renewed the lease with Sarento's and assisting Sarento's with their renovations; iStar is working on their retail space - have you seen that? In other words, they are working - on things in their control. But "Common Elements" are by definition "Common Elements," i.e., not in their control. Another example: easements at the YHT. Those easements are a great asset for the Ilikai. We need to protect them. The current Board has been dragging their feet. This 1,173 word "response" unfortunately is anything but. iStar WILL get its say and WILL get two seats on the Board at next month's election. Surely, they don't need Olga's endorsement. If you are an individual owner like me, you may want to consider who will represent you on the Board - those who have worked tirelessly in your behalf or those who engage in wishful thinking.
